  • CEO & Founder

Meet Laura, a Master’s prepared Registered Nurse with over 17 years of nursing experience. A compassionate healthcare professional that has worked in various healthcare settings, gaining a wealth of knowledge and cultivating her skills in patient care, advocacy and the importance of community well-being.

The driving force behind the creation of Pop Pop’s House was inspired by the unconditional love and acceptance received from her grandparents throughout childhood. As her grandfather, Mr. Wesley Newborn, grew older, Laura assumed the role as one of his caregivers. Her commitment to excellence, combined with a heartfelt dedication to her grandfather’s memory, fueled her mission to create an organization that treats it’s participants “like family”!
